About the event
Human Rights 101 serves as an introduction to, and/or annual review of, DMH Human Rights Regulations and Policy as they pertain to both inpatient and community services. It includes a description of fundamental Human Rights as well as the responsibilities of Human Rights Officers (HROs), Human Rights Committees, Complaint filing and process, and other required protections for all DMH operated or contracted services.
Participation in this training is required for all new HROs and annually thereafter.
